What to write to us about
- A question about a plan listed here, or about how the site compares plans.
- Something on the site that looks wrong — a price that does not match the provider’s own documents, a page that does not work, a plan that should not be listed.
- Press, publisher and research inquiries.
- A privacy question or request under the Privacy Policy.
- A complaint about this site or about the broker that operates it.
What we cannot help with
This site does not sell you electricity, hold your account, or send you a bill. So it cannot see what is on your bill, change or cancel your plan, or start or stop service at your address.
Your retail electric provider does all of that. Their contact details are on your bill and in your contract documents.
How to raise a complaint
Complaints go to the same email address. You can also take a complaint straight to the Public Utility Commission of Texas, whether or not you write to us first. What we do with a broker complaint, and how to reach the Commission, are both in the Complaints section of the Terms of Use.
Who operates this site
Fixed Rate Electric Plans is operated by Cutts Technologies LLC, a registered electricity broker with the Public Utility Commission of Texas. We are not a retail electric provider, transmission and distribution utility, municipal utility, electric cooperative, or government website. We do not sell electricity or take title to electricity, and we never switch your provider without your authorization. Your electricity agreement is with the retail electric provider you choose. Enrollment may be completed through our enrollment partner or a provider-hosted process.
